About the Role Madeenajuba is seeking a Journalist / News Publisher to research, write, edit, and publish accurate and timely news for our digital platform. This is a remote position, and applicants must have their own laptop and a reliable internet connection. This position begins with a 3-month contract. Outstanding performance may lead to a permanent position with Madeenajuba. Key Responsibilities -Research, write, edit, and publish news articles. -Cover local news, politics, business, sports, culture, entertainment, and community events. -Verify information before publication. -Write clear headlines, summaries, and photo captions. Meet publishing deadlines. -Follow Madeenajuba's editorial guidelines and publishing standards.

Bachelor's Degree (4-year university degree) or Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, English, or a related field. Must own a laptop. Reliable internet connection. Strong written English skills. Previous experience in journalism, reporting, blogging, or content writing. Good knowledge of South Sudan current affairs. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
