South Sudan Government Discusses Support for Citizens in Egypt South Sudan's Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, **Albino Akol Atak**, met with the country's Ambassador to Egypt to discuss the situation of South Sudanese living in Egypt. The ambassador said many South Sudanese face challenges such as arrests, deportation, unemployment, and hardship after fleeing the Sudan conflict. He added that the embassy is registering people who want to return home and is working with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to support voluntary returns. Minister Albino thanked the ambassador for the update and said the government will work with humanitarian partners to help South Sudanese return home safely. He also reaffirmed the government's commitment to protecting its citizens and supporting those who wish to return.
