Eco Bus Passengers Robbed in Highway Attack

Passengers on an Eco Bus traveling from Bor to Juba were robbed after armed attackers ambushed the bus near Mongiri on Wednesday morning. The attackers stole cash, mobile phones, and other personal belongings before fleeing the scene. Eco Bus said the driver was shot and is receiving medical treatment. All passengers survived, but three suffered minor injuries from broken window glass caused by the gunfire. The company said it is working with security authorities and supporting the injured driver and passengers. The attack has raised fresh concerns about safety along the Juba–Bor Highway.
